Ep. 7 - Savusauna

In this episode Risto is still zealously researching the vast world of Finnish sauna and is now mulling over where the highest concentration of Finnish people are in North America. So, down another rabbit hole he goes and discovers some place north of Wisconsin called the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

That brings us to today’s episode, which marks a few firsts: our first sauna together as a family(!), the first experience of going in a lake between sauna rounds, and the first time in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We also love to try new foods and especially like to try foods that are specialities in an area, so naturally, we had to find the best pasty in the U.P.

Join us in this week’s episode as we explore plunging in a lake, eating pasties, and finding a savusauna.
