Ep. 23 - Sauna On The Island

Well, it’s been a while since our last episode. Our previous stops included our first international sauna adventure in Thunder Bay. Then Nahlah and Christopher had a daddy-daughter adventure of looking through and scanning some historical documents collected by Matti Kaups at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. That episode is full of interesting tidbits and photos that they uncovered in those archives.

But today we get back on The Sauna Trail and head north again to Canada. This time it’s summer and we stay on an island all by ourselves. We pilot a boat for the first time, have a run-in with a possible bear, jump off a dock at night, and cook in an outdoor wood-fired oven. As always, we share photos and an analysis of the sauna as well. We’re excited to be back, to share more stories and adventures with you. Join us this week!
